Instagram Rolls Out Video Chat, New Camera Effects And Topic Channels

Ohoo! Instagram has finally added video chat as its feature with additional camera effects and Topic channels on both Android and IOS apps. These features were originally announced at Facebook’s F8 conference last month. 

Insta Video Chat
Instagram has now added video chat in the Instagram DM(direct messaging). You can set up a video chat with an individual or a group by tapping the new camera icon at the top right.During a group chat session, you can minimize the video chat window to multitask on Instagram.

Topic Channels

The interest of people may differ from one to another. they want to discover interesting content. And now Instagram has topic channels on Explore to see contents of your interests.When you tap on the Explore tab, you will see a personalized channel. One of the channels is called “For You,” which has a mix of posts personalized for your interests by machine learning.

Camera effects

Instagram is famous for its camera effects and more. To continue this Insta has introduced new camera effects. With the fee, Stories, Messaging, Live, Filters, IGTV and now video calling, Instagram is obvious to next one-stop-shop for its 1 billion users.
